Cuttlebug Challenges

Hello Crafters:

I have participated in a couple or three Cuttlebug Challenges on PCP (PaperCraftPlanet) and would like to share them with you.  It is amazing what one can do with the CB to help us make a creation.  I wouldn't be without mine.

I also have some CUP cards to show you but will show those in another post, perhaps in a couple days or so.

Enjoy, and have a great weekend!
The above CB Card was a black & white Challenge.  I used my
Musical embossing folder for background of dancers and added white pearls on the
bottom line of notes.  I used some Spellbinder Dies to mount and frame the
dancers on (which I stamped) and for a final embellishment,
the black/white polka dot ribbon......I love black and white!

We had to use a "negative" image here - which in my creation
are the three flowers.  I lined the jewel blue CS up in the Cuttlebug in
order to cut them out in the shape I wanted - so as I could put them
in a vase.  I only used two colours in this card (jewel blue & Silver).I
embossed a piece of silver CS (with Swiss Dots EF) and inserted under diecut flowers then
added a silver pearl in each flower.  The vase I just traced and cut out and
finally, added a silver ribbon and CB Victorian Corners.

On this challenge, we had to use our Paper Crimper and use
the Cuttlebug as well.  The GW Sentiment was cut on my Cuttlebug.
For the Paper Crimping, I chose a Design Paper and cut in
strips, then ran through the Crimper.  I proceeded to weave them, then
cut woven square  to fit my base card.  I added 3 matching pearls and
Prima flowers in the center.

  1. Hi Jennifer - thanks so much for taking the time to look at my latest creations - I enjoy the Cuttlebug Challenges. I like the monochrome one the best, also - your opinion/comments mean alot to me, Jennifer.
